OUR MAIN MISSION

Our Anguilla Community Service trips play a crucial role in assisting underprivileged children on the island in accessing tennis opportunities and ultimately pursuing valuable athletic scholarships in the United States. Through our dedicated efforts, we provide these children with the chance to engage in the sport of tennis, which serves as a gateway to a brighter future. By offering coaching, mentorship, and access to necessary resources, we empower these youngsters to develop their skills and unlock their potential on the tennis court. Through this program, we aim to level the playing field for these children, bridging the gap between their disadvantaged circumstances and the life-changing opportunities available through athletic scholarships in the US. By facilitating their participation in tennis and exposing them to competitive environments, we are paving the way for them to showcase their talents and gain recognition on a broader scale. Our Anguilla Community Service trips serve as a catalyst for these children's dreams, giving them the hope and means to pursue academic and athletic excellence while opening doors to a brighter and more promising future.

MIXING SERVICE WITH FUN!

Our program combines meaningful community service projects aimed at underprivileged kids with unforgettable island experiences, creating lasting memories for both volunteers and the children they serve. Through engaging activities and cultural immersion, we foster personal growth, empathy, and a sense of global citizenship in a breathtaking tropical setting.

FULLY ACCREDITED COMMUNITY SERVICE

Our tennis community service activities are hands on. We go into the public schools and set up mobile tennis stations to expose students to tennis on their school playground. The welcome we receive our overwhelming and bonds are created instantly. The level of talent we find is often mind-bending which crystalizes the importance of our partnership with the Anguilla Tennis Academy that facilitates continuity on the ground once the initial introduction is completed. Our campers are truly doing god's work on the island and providing powerful exit strategies for children who otherwise would have none.

MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Engaging in community service to help underprivileged kids is important as it provides invaluable support and opportunities for those in need, fostering positive social change and equal opportunities for all. Furthermore, volunteering in such a capacity allows individuals to grow as compassionate and empathetic individuals, broadening their perspective, nurturing personal development, and instilling a sense of fulfillment and purpose in making a difference in the lives of others.

TESTIMONIALS

In Our American Campers' Own Words

The Anguilla service trip was amazing and I came home different. The kids were wonderful and I really appreciated that they could get used to new coaches quickly. I liked that they were willing to learn and were excited and happy about tennis. It really changed the way I thought about life and how I am very fortunate to have what I have. I definitely feel like I got support from the ATA about tennis in DC and that the kids felt supported by us to keep doing tennis. I made really good friends from Anguilla that I still speak with. The kids in Anguilla make me smile and when I think about them and the trip I feel happy. I want to go back next year because I felt happy when I was helping the kids and saw that they were happy when we were teaching them. I feel like we made an impact on their lives and they definitely impacted mine. Since my return, I have taken some steps to continue to give to this amazing community.

Our Anguillan Campers' Own Words

I am really grateful for the opportunity to have gone on this trip for the past three years. I am also really thankful to Yann and Mitch and everybody else who made this trip possible. I think that the goal of service trip is to provide Anguillan kids to get exposed to tennis which can eventually help them achieve big goals in life and things that they never thought they could do. Another goal of the trip is to educate and expose kids to tennis that might have not had the opportunity to even try the sport. The trip makes it possible for Anguillan kid to see a future beyond Anguilla. During the trips I have made so many friendships that I am so grateful for and will hopefully have for a lifetime. Seeing the kids enthusiasm towards tennis has been the most rewarding part of the whole trip because they are really into it. Overall I have had amazing experiences that I will never forget on the trip to Anguilla.
